filter dryer

installed a filter/dryer in wrong direction and didnt discover until start up.. What if any probs w/that?   AC only

Not a good practice although have not seen any side effects nor issues with that !
Make sure its installed downstairs before the coil not outside by the unit

The more restrictive final stage filter is in front, so it will be prone to plug up faster. There is a possibility some of the absorption beads may be able to escape out the exit point of the filter by the far less restrictive screen and plug up the metering device since the pressure on the filter is now completely reversed to how it was designed... But if my memory serves me correct, the last time I looked through one for carrier, I could see right through one end and out the other.
