white rodgers 36j27 gas valve

I'm looking for some trouble shooting info on a 26j27-508 gas valve.  I have a York furnace that wont light up, the glow plug and fan are running. Circuit board is flashing 2 yellow ( call for heat )

I can hear the solenoid valve click when its calling for gas.  I've checked pin 1 and pin 4 for 24v power. all good. Is there a way to check the Blue/white wire for the stepper motor in the gas valve?

( natural gas supply good, water heater is working)
( intake and exhaust not blocked )
( gas orifices not blocked )
( no stored codes, other then the lock out due to no ignition )
