We just had tssa come by and we were told that on every call  and heating start up they want us to measure gas pressures and test all safeties as well as do combustion analysis. The inspector told use that we have to pull and high limits and roll out switches and test them with a heat gun and thermometer to verify they trip out at their listed rating. Not sure how they expect us to do all this when we aren't given enough time for a proper seasonal in the first place. Oh and you can't test your high limit by disabling the blower as it's a "destructive test".
On that note what does everyone else do on a seasonal to check operation and safeties

Start charging more lol I know most company's around my part don't do 1/4 of what there supposed to let Alone own a manometer or combustion analyzer lol

"We just had tssa come by"...was this your 3 year, $450 audit? (where tssa inspects licensed contractors who follow the rules, instead of tackling unlicensed contractors working for cash)?
I would ask for the B149.1-15 reference.
