I assume you're talking about the residential sheet metal installer license? Which is the 308R. I'm looking to challenge it also. I've been currently studying what I can but really don't have much of a clue what to expect on the exam. You can challenge it. You'll need someone who has the license to sign off that you are competent and have 4500 hours of experience. There's several forms and procedures you need to follow on the OCOT website. Not sure of any places to take the course other than full time and being a registered apprentice.

There are some example questions in the private forum.

The only practice questions I've seen are the ones in private forums on here. It looks tough. I've heard from someone else there will be lots of sizing and air flow requirements. I challenged it and waiting for a response. OCOT are being a little tough on me this time around. Not sure how it will pan out.
