Title: Roof Rack for iron pipes
Post by: G.P. on March 09, 2012, 05:34:30 AM
Anyone ever try to carry iron pipe on a roof rack?  I was thinking something like the Rhino Pipe Tube Carrier (http://www.rhinoracks.co.uk/rhino-pipe-tubes.html (http://www.rhinoracks.co.uk/rhino-pipe-tubes.html)) which seems a little stronger than the average tubes but I believe it was made to carry copper pipes.
???Not too sure it would hold up well with the added weight of iron. I'm skeptical about braking hard though. . .

Put it on top of the extension ladder, then strap it down good.

Thanks, I was hoping for a weather resistant solution though. Something that would protect it from the rain as well. . .
