Hi,

i am a 313d journeyman and want to get my 313a. do i need to do all 9000 hours or can i put my hours i have towards the 313a. also am i able to challenge the exam or do i have to go back to school for everything?

The 4500 hrs you worked before to write the 313D exam will also count towards the hours required to write the 313A exam, 9000 hrs in total.

You should contact your local MTCU office for information on challenging the 313A exam.

Hi Guys

I have question , i am looking forward challange 313 D exam, I worked so hard and i am almost on my way to make the 4500 hours , the only issue this 4500 hours should  be in 2 and half years,or  if it is within 2 years or less, is it acceptable too??,  please advise

so can you still challenge the 313d without going to college for the apprenticeship schooling??
