Hi I am taking my G2 exam on Thursday any info would be appreciated.
I talked to a guy from the course he failed so I am a little concerned.
Reading over all the modules and reading over the code book.
Any areas I should concentrate on?
Thanks
Hi
If you have read through everything and tested yourself with practise exam's you will be fine. I sat mine on the 26 th of August, there were 55 guys in the room and most were shaking there heads when they came out. After two weeks you can call the T.S.S.A to get your result, they will only tell you if it is a pass or fail no percentages. I went into the T.S.S.A. office to get my paperwork as it didn't arrive in the post, they do not give you a mark if you pass, but they do if you dont pass.
There are six different versions of the paper so the guy beside you may have a different paper, if you need to take a re test they will give you another version.
It is natural to be nervous/anxious about it, you have three and a half hours to answer one hundred and sixty five questions, that is plenty of time to go back over the questions.
Best of luck
Drop a line, let us know how it went.
Just finally got my results from TSSA and passed the G2 it takes along time to get your results!!
Good thing I put it off so I only had one chance.
Good Job!
:buttrock:
how many chance to get G2 licence, as i know 2 chances?
tks
Download Ontario Regulation 215/01 - Here (http://www.hvactechgroup.com/article.php/20071111132902251)
See Section 5(4) - Qualifications
Quote(4) If the applicant fails the examination or series of examinations on three successive attempts, the applicant shall successfully complete the program described in subsection (1) after making the unsuccessful attempts and before taking the examination or series of examinations again, and subsection (5) does not apply. O. Reg. 253/08, s. 5 (2).
am looking under practice test they say gas fitters practical exam is that the one i want to practice to get my G2 technicians exams i thought gas fitters was a different thing then G2 tech or perhaps you just made a mistake and put gas fitters thanks for response
Thanks for pointing that out. I modified the forum descriptions to now say Gas Technician Exams instead of Gas Fitter Exams. You're right, there is no Gas Fitter Exam in Ontario.
Ontario Regulation 215/01 refers to G1, G2 and G3 certificates and the TSSA prints Gas Technician 1, 2 or 3 on the certificate.
