i have a ruud furnace model number UGPH-1OEAMER. The ignitor will not operate. there is power going to it but it still wont come on. Board shows 2 flashes.
2 blinks usually means the pressure switch did not close and therefore would not send 120V to the ignitor. How did you verify the ignitor was getting power?
Does the gas valve open and release gas for a few seconds? If you hear gas and are certain the ignitor is getting 120V then I suspect you need a new ignitor.
If the exhaust motor runs but the pressure switch does not close I would check the pressure switch tubing and venting for blockages. Use a manometer to measure the airflow from the ventor motor pressure switch tubing and compare it to the rating on the pressure switch. Sometimes pressure switches go bad.
