Hi folks
Hope you are enjoying the long weekend.
Something that has bothered me for a while.
Two years ago I attended Hi-Mark in Toronto for an eleven week G2 course, I came from the U.K. the TSSA allowed me to by-pass the G3 in view of my previous qualification's and years on the tool's.
I called the TSSA after a few week's and was told I had passed. I did not receive the paperwork in the post so I paid them a visit. They printed the stuff for me. I then asked what had my mark been, I was told that that was not available to me!
Having talked to guy's who unfortunately did not make the grade, they received a letter to say that they were unsuccessful and had a mark of 72 per cent.
I have been told that a perspective employer can call them up to ask about your marks. Can any one through some light on this for me? I would like to know for my own sanity.
Thanks in advance.
Todd
I'm curious about this as well. I know a guy who just recently got his G3, and he got a 76%... Now I've been told that it's only when you fail they will let you know your score, and that if you pass, then they wont tell you.
I really hope they let you know your marks since I will be going for the G2 and I'd like to know if I barely scraped by on the G3 by the skin of my teeth, or if I passed with flying colors. It would give me an idea of whether or not I need to study harder.
My boss had also been told his mark of 98% on his G2 (which was a good decade ago, so who knows how things may have changed); it was the highest his teacher had ever heard of.
Go back to the test provider (Himark) and ask them. They receive the marks of everyone that they put through the course.
Thanks Trainerguy.
I will pop in there and let you all know the outcome.

Hi all
Went into Hi-Mark and got my pass mark in minutes, as the phrase used by Porcupinepuffer, I passed by the skin of my teeth.
Thanks to Trainerguy for your input.
