Title: How do I apply 313d certificate of qualification
Post by: hmmbm on September 03, 2014, 06:56:02 PM
Hi, I want to apply a 313d challenge test, I just found out I have to apply Trade Equivalency Assessment for $226 first because I didn't through the apprenticeship. I have been Hvac field for 3years and I have the letter from my employer also. Did anyone  pay for this and dose anyone know the step to get the 313d test?  Thanks!

The 313 certificates used to be issued by the MTCU.  The process to challenge was fairly simple,

Now that the OCOT is in place the challenging process has changed.  I had a quick look and the requirements seem similar.  The MTCU used to process the application for free and charged $100 to write the exam.  I wonder if the $226 includes the exam fee.
