last year inspected unit for constantly running.
took out electronic board and inspected it put it back in, inspected connections.
Unit started working correctly.
This winter started unit up and noticed that when it is not running, you can hear a buzzing noise at times coming from unit?
anyone experienced a noise such as this?

It's probably the transformer or damper. Maybe the damper is sticking. If you access the electrical you will find the transformer and may have to secure it down. Or visually inspect that the damper opens and closes while the door is open. You have to push in the door switch or use a magnet to close the switch if there's no actual switch. It's a safety to stop the HRV from running when the door is opened.
