They are selling this version at the college bookstore. Some guys have been told that they don't need the code adoption documents to go along with it.
Guess my question is , is this true? Has this latest version been adopted by the TSSA?
Went to CSA web site but didn't really find anything.
The legal Code in Ontario is the B149.1-10 with FS-212-14 amendments.
I suspect the TSSA won't be adopting the B149.1-15 until 2016, at the earliest.
The book itself is a general code across almost all of Canada. Provincial amendments would still be needed. Anyone thinking amendments wouldn't be required because it's a new book would be wrong.
The detailed description on the CSA website on the 2015 b149.1 does state: "As always, users of the Code must consider the entire Code and any local amendments. "
Thanks for the replys. I guess there are no adoption docs because the code has not been adopted yet.
seems like a bit of a dilema. What code should new guys coming in buy? New code with old adoption docs? Then buy new adoption docs when they're released?
Will the old adoption docs fit the new code book properly
Is the 2010 code still available? Didn't see it on CSA site.
Thanks again.
If any one is interested. Info i get says CAD will be released in October and code is expected to be adopted January 2016
Code book when released in 2010 didn't come into effect till 2012, I will be surprised if it is that quick. What code book did you get for class?
Sorry Attavior. Didn't see your question. I'm using 2010 code book.
Any word on when TSSA will adopt new code. Been watching their web site and downloaded the proposed CAD.
I guess B149.10 with FS-212-14 is still the current code?
The legal Code in Ontario is the B149.1-10 and FS-212-14 Amendments and the B149.2-10 and FS-211-14 Amendments.
