Title: Condensing unit question

How far a residential condensibg unit should be installed from a gas meter (no regulator or relief).

40" or one full metric meter

I think the 3' or 1m rule applies to the gas regulator outlet.  If there is no regulator then the AC could be installed closer than 3' or 1m from the gas meter.
