Hello, was wondering what's the average pay of g2 and g3 techs and how about g2 on there own (own company) in the toronto area

I would say a G3 could start at $15/hr and a G2 $20/hr, and probably get to about $35/hr. Unionized companies would probably pay more when you factor in pension benefits.
If you own the company then you should charge clients at least $100/hr plus a service call or diagnostic fee.
