QuoteOntario fuels regulations require specific actions when certificate or record of training (ROT) holders find an unacceptable condition that either poses an immediate hazard or a non-immediate hazard.
The regulations specifically include giving written notice of the condition to the fuel distributor.
According to media reports, there is a strong possibility of a labour disruption at Canada Post as early as July 2. If this happens, mailing this notice to the distributor will not satisfy this obligation.
If you normally provide notice via Canada Post mail and there is a strike, it's important that you're prepared.
Please contact fuel distributors now to find an alternate secure means (email is an option) to deliver this notice.
