Title: Thermostat for setup with ERV and dehumidifier
Post by: JohnEnglish on May 21, 2017, 11:47:42 PM
I have a York furnace and AC right now and I'm looking to add an ERV and whole house dehumidifier. I was looking at the ecobee but it'll only control 1 accessory (ERV or dehumidifier but not both). Does anyone have any suggestions for a thermostat (preferably one that I can control via my phone) that'll hook up to all my HVAC devices?

You could buy the Honeywell Prestige 2.0 IAQ kit that comes with the module and outdoor sensor.  This thermostat has 3 sets of dry contacts and can control an ERV/HRV, humidifier and dehumidifier.  I'm not sure if the newer models have built in WIFI or if you will need to buy the Redlink gateway to connect.

You can download the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app for free.

Great, thanks. A cursory glance seems to suggest that it's WiFi enabled by default but I'll look into it more.  :)
