Title: Safety testing on equipment
Post by: mattmctree on October 11, 2017, 04:12:05 PM
How does everyone test limits and safeties and pressure switches. I usually test the limits and rollout with a lighter and to test the pressure switches I take the tube off. Was told that we should be recording temps at which switches trip and pressures when pressure switches make or break. Any thoughts on this? Not trying to be paranoid but don't want to get any issues with tssa

Pressure switches can be tested with manometer limits by disabling fan
