Title: Newmac cl 86-96 wood and oil combination furnace
Post by: Labsearcher on October 23, 2017, 11:08:26 AM
Hi,looking for help ,I have no power to my draft fan ,and thermostats are not working properly ,wondering what could be causing it,does the 24vlt transformer control the power to the draft fan as well as the thermostats, replace the thermal relay but still no difference now thinking it might be the 24 volt transformer?

The fan likely runs on 120V and the transformer needs a 120V power supply to step down to 24V.  I would say you have a problem with the power supply or control board.

Make sure your oil stat is turned right down (as it has priority. Then turn up your wood stat, make sure your bypass switch on the combustion air blower is not on. Sounds more like an issue with the wood relay.
