Title: Boiler Water Temperature
Post by: walker on December 21, 2017, 10:00:13 PM
What are the codes for boiler water temps if any, for certain types of heat, ie, baseboard, cast radiator, in-floor etc? Should they be set for 150F or 180F or other?

Not sure if anything is in print in a code book, maybe in the hydronics installation code.  I've always gone with 80-100 for infloor depending on the finished floor covering.  Cast iron 140 to 150,  air handlers design is 130 or above, baseboard style 180.  Look at a Tekmar Reset module manual, they usually have design temperatures in the manual which will depict the temp ranges and reset range.
