Post by: howitt on February 24, 2018, 07:54:20 PM
Has anyone become a certified hydronic installer or designer?

Hey howitt, I have not however I just started a Hydronics course at GBC.  it is a 5 month once a week night course and I like it.  Our instructor was mentioning something about a 4 full day course where you can get your certification.  Have you been working with these systems or are they new to you?

Hi, I have been working with these systems in the commercial sector.  I work with boilers and hydronic heating all the time but I am not able to design a system...Engineers do it in my industry.

Hi G.P.

How was the course at GB?
I'm thinking of taking it this Feb 2020.
Do you learn how to design hydronic layouts and loops for in-floor heating?

Check out HRAI for their design courses, there is a wealth of information thru their classes.  Very much focused on the design side of things, with that information you will be able to address any issues found on an installation.
