Hello everyone!
Couple questions here regarding the new tankless units. Does anyone have any experience with them? I know the rinnai needs a isolation valve on the furthers fixtures for the recirculation line.
Has anyone installed the new naviens with the buffer tank inside and the internal recirculation, does this need an isolation valve on the furthest fixture as well?
All help and ideas are great.
Thanks!!
Isn't an isolation valve just a shut off valve? I've heard of Rinnai using a thermal bypass valve (bridge valve) at the furthest fixture. This way we can use the cold water line for recirculation.
Navien recommends running a recirculation line back to the water heater from the furthest fixture.
