Title: In floor heat insulation preferences
Post by: G.P. on November 11, 2018, 02:56:32 AM
I have used HeatSheet as well as HotRocks for both in floor and snow melt applications, just wondering if any of you have used these and what your preferences are (or if you have others that work better).  HeatSheet has 4" on centers for their puck design and HotRock has 3" centers.
I find looping 3/4" is easier on 9" loops than 8" (I typically use a 3 puck gap for the Heatsheet as trying to loop it on 8" tends to kink my pex.
Thanks and interested to hear your experiences.
