i came across a piece of equipment that is still running on r 12. am i able to service and repair this equipment with r 12 if i am able to find old stock?
does anyone know the going rate for a 30 lb cylinder or virgin r 12?

If you can find it, you can use it. You just can't use something that has been in another system without it being brought back to virgin state.

I couldn't even guess, but I'd assume it wouldn't be fair since mostly only large expensive pieces of equipment would use it.
