Hello all, so after almost 20 years I have decided to take my G1 course. I started a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone or if this site has practice exams? Any help would be appreciated.

Did my G1 exam this september. I've got some things that I can pass over to you. Do you plan to challenge it, or go to Himark and such? Because if you're going to Himark they're going to hook you up with everything you need. I went to himark for it and with the stuff they gave us, G1 exam was a breeze.
Yes I am going to Himark. That is reassuring hearing this from you. It does put my mind at ease a bit. I am kinda worries because it's been so long since I've been in any classroom. I work on the utility side and I don't really work on the big stuff first hand. Ah well, I guess 2 hours of reading/night should and better help the cause!!

Actually I did it over Zoom. And then we had 5 practical labs in Toronto locations.
If you work on any non resie equipment in your company, that test is going to be a breeze. Especially with the way himark trains you. Its been many years, but I have an odd memory that my G2 felt harder. Very few questions there required strict memorization. A lot of them were very evident if you are have some experience, or ... Read the modules.
I would advice digging up modules you used to get G2 as about 15% of the questions come straight from G2. Sizing up ventilation and combustion air requirements, etc.

But honestly? You've got little to worry about. Everything I can do to help you, himark will give you.
The exam is 150 questions and you need to get 40 wrong to fail. It's not easy to fail that exam.
Granted, once you got the ticket, the knowledge in the field is all on you. And the consequences of mistakes are much more evident.
