I have a furnace, ac, humidifier and ERV
A while ago I managed to connect it all together and its working fine
Now I'm going to remove a wall where the thermostat is
Running new wire from the basement to a place where I should relocated the thermostat is going to be very problematic and ideally I would prefer to avoid it
I could put ecobee in the basement and put a sensor on the main floor but its not ideal. I prefer to have the thermostat upstairs
I was thinking to use Honeywell PRESTIGE IAQ because as far as I understand all the wiring is done in the furnace room and I don't need to run all the wires upstairs ? But I'm a bit concerned that its a relatively old model (I know that old is not always bad)
Is there any new models that can support my setup ?
Do you think Honeywell PRESTIGE IAQ would be able to solve my problem and control everything ?
How the main unit connects ? Its wireless or I still need to run some wires to it ?
