Title: HVAC career pathway
Post by: steviegee on March 31, 2021, 09:32:38 PM
Has anyone worked at Enbridge and what is it like there?
I'm currently working for a small family run hvac company.
I've worked on residential(install and service) and got the chance to work on a few commercial rtu (I'm still a newbie)
But what advice would you give me or any upcoming technicians the road to a successful hvac career path?
I would like to hear your guys experience and advice. Thanks in advance!

I would say you'll have to choose between being an installer, or a service technician.  Installers work hard, earn well, and their work is mostly mind numbing and repeatative.  Service tech is more fun, you get to do a lot of different stuff and navigate many more variables. But earnings can be significantly lower until you get really really good.
