Title: Lifebreath RNC 200 blinking LED
Post by: Big Onions on October 10, 2021, 12:21:51 PM
I am replacing an old, broken VanEE with a Lifebreath RNC 200 on a partially dedicated system. Other than connecting a jumper across terminals 2 & 3, it is connected to an ecobee as per Lifebreaths wiring diagram. Although it goes through the start up procedure testing the fan speeds properly and the damper operation, it doesn't seem to come on after that. Currently the LED is blinking at a rate of once every 7 seconds. Any help is appreciated.

You have a jumper between terminals 2 ON and 3 RED.  Did you wire the Ecobee ACC to HI and ON terminals?

When you plug the HRV in does it run through a startup test mode and do the fans run?

ACC is not wired to Hi and ON. It does run thru the start-up test mode and does the fan runs at different speeds. Is the blinking LED normal?

How do you have the Ecobee wired to control the HRV?  The steady blink is normal.

It should be wired as described in my first post.
