Title: Identifying refrigerant
Post by: Sergroum on October 13, 2021, 08:21:20 PM
Soooo, I have a walk in cooler.   Equalized pressure 50/150. Operational pressure 0/180.

Could be a restriction, could be low on refrigerant. But I can't even identify which refrigerant is being used. Compressor doesnt mention it and the evaporator coil says its compatible with 22,r138, 404. So that doesnt help.  Dont really know what to do.

It's listed under the Section For Use With R22 on Page 40,

That's 970, not 270. Though perhaps that doesn't matter.

I noticed that too but that model would be R22 regardless of the last 3 numbers.  The last 3 numbers are the bill of material / product variations.  Series 200 means standard compressor and component parts.
