I have a Am. Standard Freedom v90 gas 2 stage furnace (2001) the doesn't fire up. It cycles through the call for heat process 3 times then flashes the 2 blink system lockout code. The inducer blows, the igniter glows but the gas doesn't fire. I've cleaned the flame sensor, checked the venting for blockage, blew out the condensation lines and checked the pressure tubes. Currently my gas fireplace is the only source on heat in the house. (yes, the gas line is open to the furnace). Am I missing something?
When the ignitor is glowing and the gas is NOT fireing, is there 24 vac present at the gas control valve?
Like Ace said, check to see if you have 24V at the gas valve, or if you hear clicks. I would say it's either the gas valve or the board. If you don't have 24V st the valve then replace the board. If you do have 24V at the valve, then replace the valve.
Sounds like another homeowner trying to fix it there own furnace....Call a professional please! Its gonna cost you regardless cause you might need a part.
