Title: Stuttering Air Flow
Post by: Danny_Kinkade on October 21, 2022, 06:13:06 AM
Has anyone ever heard this sound coming from their furnace.
Sounds like air is struggling to pass with filter in place – once I remove the filter it improves dramatically but not 100%

•   Stelpro furnace Electric Forced Air installed 2 years ago ( worked flawless 1st two winters )
•   With filter in place from using a cheap filter or using a high end filter the issue presents itself
•   With filter removed it improves but not 100%
•   No visible blockage in return vents
•   No closed vents in out vents ( closed the vent in video only to make better quality video )

HVAC guy came out
•   Replaced Blower motor – no improvement
•   With motor set to medium a slight squeal can be heard, not heard on high speed
•   A small vibration on blower wheel may or may not be there. Could be our eyes playing tricks on us

Anyone else experience this
Helpful advice would be appreciated

Is there an air conditioning coil at the furnace that may be dirty?

No AC
It's a straight forward Electric Forced Air Heating Furnace.
Only 2 years old, everything looks clean
