Title: I need to "invert" the signal sent from my new thermometer to my HRV unit
Post by: mkonecny on December 02, 2022, 12:03:58 AM
According to the manufacturer docs, the HRV is designed to always be running if no thermostat is connected. This is in a condo unit.

I spoke with their hardware team, and they confirmed their in-house thermostat only connects 24V to the HRV when it is intended to be turned off.

Exactly opposite of what my new thermostat does (Ecobee). So if I tell my Ecobee to turn on the HRV, it turns it off

Can I somehow invert the signal (connect 24v instead of 0V and vice versa) via a relay or some hardware?
