Hello. As the title states my Venmar Constructo 1.0 HRV seems to be stuck in a boot loop. When I plug it in,the light on the bottom of the unit is green for a couple of seconds. Then it starts blinking red and clicking at the same time. I can hear that the motorized damper is starting and stopping with each click. It opens the damper fully then blinks and clicks again as it closes it. Once it's done the light turns green for a few seconds. Then it starts all over again. It keeps repeating over and over again. Anyone have any thoughts?
Check and see if somebody used a screw for the vent. The screws stop the damper from opening and closing and then it errors out.
Which vent are you referring to? The one connected to the damper?I should've mentioned that the unit had been working for years and then suddenly started doing this. I have watched it go through the boot cycle with the filter out and it does open the damper all the way but keeps stopping. I took a video of it, I'll get it uploaded to youtube and post it.
Here is a video I took a couple or so months ago. Only difference now is that the light is green at the beginning of the boot sequence. It does not go amber.
