I have a client with 5 zone system. When the place was being renovated, they've purchased TrueZone HZ432 for zone control, which has a maximum of 4 zones. They just used dampers 4 and 5 as one zone. Now they want to properly separate it, which means I now need a 5 zone control module. Would anyone have any recommendations? Or better yet, is there a way to add a 5th zone capability to TrueZone HZ432? Maybe as some kind of a separate module. Anyone have any experience with that?
Yes, it's expandable to 32 zones using wired thermostats with the TotalZone® Add-A-Zone™ panel (TAZ-4). Each module will add 4 zones.
