First time, long time.
I am the manager of a busy HVAC shop and we are entering peak cooling season. I have several "techs" with limited a/c heat pump knowledge. I know this is not ideal but finding qualified experienced service techs is very difficult in our (peterborough area). I have created a couple of instructional type charts for how to check superheat and subcooling as well as how to properly charge a system (provided that the source of undercharging has been identified and resolved. I am attaching that to this post but I am also wondering if there are any other similar items I could issue that other people have posted that could assist my techs to troubleshoot in the field.
