So I've been exploring types of thermostats that would work with that whole Heat Pump/Aux Dual Fuel situation.
I've found Tekmar that has the whole "Interface at the furnace, Control upstairs" setup. I think that works well for my work, but I'm curious if there are other brands of thermostats that do what Tekmar does, but hopefully better.
Anyone encounter anything they liked that has that setup?
The idea is to have an interface board in the mechanical room and only 2 wire connection for the face control upstairs.
I recall Carrier had something similar at one point, but it seemed to be consistently glitchy. Perhaps I'm misremembering that part.
