Title: hvac uv lights
Post by: stiz on January 15, 2008, 07:18:21 PM
I did a search on this forum for hvac uv lights and could not get any results. I wanted to see some discussion on the subject because I am considering adding one to my home's hvac system. But I see there is a lot of different kinds, brands, and pricing. Does anyone have any experience with these? I would like to get some opinion on what is the best brand and where to install the units  in the system. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, stiz   :-\

Lennox PureAir System.  It's the best purification system I have seen for residential use.

QuoteThe revolutionary PureAir™ Air Purification System consists of a MERV 16 Precision Pleat™ filter, two 55-watt UVA lamps† and a metal insert that is coated with a catalyst that's activated by ultraviolet (UVA) light.
