Title: Lifebreath DCS300 No Power
Post by: smokeythebandit on April 05, 2024, 02:57:58 PM
Hello Im hoping someone can help, I have a Lifebreath DCS 300 in my house that is not turning on anymore or receiving power.  All of a sudden it just shut off.

Ive tested the outlets and whatnot and they all seem to be working, I have control buttons in the bathrooms with a light, but they don't light up when pressed.

Did the unit just die on me or is there something I can do to see if It can be fixed.

Thanks

Check the board for a low voltage fuse.  It's also possible the control board or auto transformer are faulty.

Did someone open the door and not close it properly?

Thank I will check to see if there is something with the fuse. I did also double check door, but I imagine even unplugging and plugging the unit back in would make some sort of noise regardless of the door, but I will tripe check that.

If it does turn out to be something like "control board or auto transformer are faulty"

Are these things that can be easily changed out and fixed? Do you know if these units generally have a long life ?
