Ecobee Smart Thermostat With Voice Control (version 4.8.7.222)
My thermostat has Acc+ and Acc-
I've connected:
Acc+ to OL
Acc- to OC
I do not have a wall control. I want to operate the HRV from the Ecobee.
The problem i'm running into is that my Vanee is continuously running.
In the Ecobee, I successfully added the new equipment, and a continuity test shows that when there is demand (furnace fan on), there is continuity and no demand (fan off), no continuity (indicating to me the ecobee is basically acting like a switch). The Ecobee also shows 3 equipment running when on (furnace, fan, ventilator) and nothing running when off. (Expected behavior also indicating the Ecobee thinks it stopped the Vanee)
But, given that the vanee continuously "runs" (say I unplug all the terminals and simply plug the unit it, it runs continuously), it seems like it ignores completely whatever comes from the Ecobee.
Press the push button, on the HRV, until the light turns off.
