Does a 2-stage thermostat still exist that shows its current stage?
I had a White-Rogers thermostat that I bought years ago with my system (2-stage for both Heating and cooling) that used to show me what stage was running for either Heat or A/C. It up and died a couple of years ago and is no longer manufactured. I cannot seem to find a 2-stage H/C thermostat Anywhere that displays this information, and I really miss that feature. I currently have a Honeywell Therm., and I wired it for 2-stage H and A/C and it doesn't show that information. Nor can I seem to find one ANYWHERE that does. Please help me! If indeed there is still such a thing that even exists! Thanks so much, in advance.
The Ecobee will display stages. A lot of areas have rebates for installing smart thermostats and you may qualify.
Thanks for that information. I'm curious though, is the current stage information displayed on the thermostat itself, or only on the app?
It will display up to 2 stages on the thermostat or app.
Thank you again Admin. I just watched an operational video on the Ecobee 3 Lite and it totally skips over that info. because the guy presenting it only has a 1 stage system. In other words, I wasted my time watching it. So, I further appreciate your information! Thanks again.
