Honeywell T10+ with Redlink 3.0 (THX321WF3003W) plus 2 wireless indoor sensors (C7189R3002) and 1 wireless outdoor sensor (C7089R3013)
Goal is to have this t-stat control humidifier with heat and independent of call for heat when heat is not needed.
Humidifier is Aprilaire 550 bypass. Furnace is Trane TUD100C948K4.
Furnace board is CRYGW / Twin and current stat is RYGN with R jumped to RC (assume one transformer). Furnace does not have optional hum and EAC board.
Planned install
Redlink 3.0 only for communication – no app – also no WIFI will be available Will use 2 wireless room sensors and 1 outside temp sensor.
AC Furnace C and Y to outside unit
Tstat CGRW to same on furnace (R slider on stat up-one wire)
Tstat Hum U and U wires – this is where I need a little help.
As current – one u to W(heat) the other to hum solenoid wire 1 and then solenoid wire 2 back to C
OR - one u to G(fan) the other to hum solenoid wire 1 and then solenoid wire 2 back to C
OR – one u to solenoid wire 1 and the other u to solenoid 2
OR – add transformer and one u to hum solenoid wire 1, solenoid wire 2 to new transformer C and other U wire to new transformer R
OR – something else?
My question is will this stat handle the call for hum without heat or will I need an extra transformer or do I need to change wiring set up?
