Title: Carrier Continuous Fan Issues
Post by: da_truth on July 02, 2026, 09:36:15 PM
Hi All, trying to troubleshoot a Carrier HVAC system (Model: FE4ANf005). I have always ran the continuous fan during warm days, and i have noticed it will stop running after a few minutes. (Yes, it is set correctly on the thermostat)

Fan blows normally (ECM fan) when A/C is running, but will only run for a few minutes in continuous mode and then will shutoff. No LED code issues nor faults on the motherboard. Filters changed this week and coils are clean (inside and out). Fan moves freely by hand with no noises. Power cycle fixes the problem but only for 5 minutes then it comes back. Havent had an issue like this before.

Welcome thoughts and comments.

Are you using an Infinity thermostat? It may be stopping the continuous fan in order to control humidity.

Try disabling that option and see if the continuous fan operates normally.
