Title: need help sizing furnace

what size btu furnace is recommended for 2000 sq ft 2 stry house? currently have 80 000 btu which seems like it's on all the time, only 2 yrs old (Payne)

you need a heatloss done on it . this will tell the proper size furnace. try doing a heat loss your self go to www.heatload.com it will give you a could ideal

should tell you that on that site you need to click on the school pass it will let you in to do your own heatloss

You really need to include more info. I would not put a furnace into your house with less than 80,000 btu out put if you are talking about a 80% effic furnace that converts to a 100.000 btu furnace minimum for this area.
