Title: High Velocity Air Handler, Case Coil (2 ton) and condenser (1.5 ton) QUESTION
Post by: focus13 on May 19, 2010, 05:18:44 PM
I recently installed a non matching evaporator and condenser both 410A on a high velocity air handler.  I need to get my hands on a piston or TXV for the system.  I am unable to find any information on the coil supplier online.  Since the coil was not purchased through me I wonder what other means of finding out exist?

Who makes the evaporator coil and outdoor unit?

I don't see why you couldn't use a universal TXV rated for 1.5 ton and 410A.

Make sure, if the coil is on the return side, that you install a freeze stat to protect the heating coil, in the event the unit ices up.
