Title: Draft simulator device for troubleshooting
Post by: etobicoke on August 22, 2010, 06:21:00 PM
I saw this device on You Tube http://pressureswitchtester.com/default.aspx Anyone have one or thinks it would be worth getting one to troubleshoot pressure switches.

It's an interesting tool, but I don't come accross too many pressure switch problems that aren't a result of another problem.  It's rare to have to replace pressure switches.  Usually the problem is caused by a venting or drainage issue.  It looks like you still need a manometer to use this tool.  Personally I would stick with a good dual port manometer and multimeter in troubleshooting.
