Hi all

i have a vast experience in hvac from abroad(india), i have bachelors degree from india,can i challange license directly or do i need to study in canada where n who can guide me in canada.i m PR recently pls help

It all depends on what you have the previous experience and certification in. For the Regulated trades Refrigeration, Sheet Metal, Electrical... You must apply through OCOT www.collegeoftrades.ca . If they approve they will issue you a provisional certificate. You can then challenge.

For Fuels, Natural Gas/Propane and Oil, You can challenge the Gas Technician 3. For G2 or G1 you must apply through TSSA.

www.tssa.org in the Fuels tab, has the info needed to apply. You should also read the " Policies and Procedures" found on the TSSA site.
It explains what steps may be required , and what exams you may be required to write.
The fees an also be found there.
