Title: Lifebreath hrv 155max not working
Post by: Steven b on September 20, 2017, 07:42:49 AM
Hi ,

I've been having issues with my hrv for a while now.
It just ignores the controls after about 24hrs of being idle, if i unplug the unit, it will test itself and will operate and activate when my mechanical dehumidistat is put to "on" or if 1 of my 2 bathroom controler timers(also mechanical)are set to "on". But after 24 hours it will not respond to the controlers i checked the voltage at the terminals when it's operational and when it's not and controlers seem to be fine seeing they stop the current when activated.

Please help

It seems the controls and wiring aren't the problem.

Maybe the damper inside the HRV isn't closing after it turns off, and the system won't restart.

Or maybe there's an issue with the control board.

The HRV will reset if you open the door, so try to disconnect the outdoor flex from the HRV and see what the damper is doing.

Thank you for replying, the damper does close when i open the panel, and you are right about the board.
I talked with lifebreath on the phone earlier today and they beleive it's an issue with the board. Guess I'm screwed😕
