We are using a good number (near 70) of the MVF461H series Siemens magnetic steam PRVs, these are fairly new compared to other valves we have been using. The valves work great, they are faster and more flexible than others. Problem is they have a rather high rate of failure. I have been given a few probable causes, but nothing which satisfies for a valve supposedly built for steam and as expensive as any. Our infrastructure is well maintained and we have Belimos and others which last decades rather than years.
Does anyone have experience with the MVF461H series?
