This will be held in the Progress Campus Fireside Gallery on Thursday, April 2, 2O15 from 6 PM to 9 PM.

This is an opportunity to meet and speak to the students that are looking for summer work, co-op placement or to start their apprenticeship. There is no cost or obligation to Contractors participating in this program.   Centennial College presently provides three distinct program routes:

  • Two year certificate program,

  • Co-Op study program

  • Day release Apprenticeship Training in conjunction with the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU)and the Ontario College of Trades (OCOT).

There are presently 156 students enrolled in the Certificate and Co-Op programs and many will be graduating shortly. Other students are eager for the opportunity to obtain summer employment in their chosen trade!

This is a golden opportunity to have casual discussions with these students and to prospect for any current or future needs that your organization will have. Their studies have been developed within the guidelines for the Federal 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic training standards as developed by MTCU and OCOT. They have also completed hoisting, rigging and fall restraint studies and many have been licensed by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment for handling Ozone Depleting Substances. Most second year students have obtained their G3 license and many are presently working on their G2.

Space is limited. Register now so that you will not miss out on this once-a-year opportunity!
