So I have an intermittent furnace issue...

Calls for heat, inducer runs, hsi lights up, I hear the valve click.. but no flame. Sometimes it will go through the 4 attempts and into a soft lockout(The 6+1 code). Ill cycle the power and it usually takes off. This has been goin on since Halloween but more frequent lately.

I plan on checking voltage at the valve and hsi but like I say most of the time it works when I go to turn it back on

Can you smell the gas/hear hissing during or near the time the HSI lights up?

Is it on lp or natural gas ?
