Got my bit in the mail today. Postage on the package was $2.24US. He charged $13.99US for shipping and $2.00US for insurance. A couple of days after paying he sends a e-mail asking for $5.00 more to cover the extra cost to Canada. Still cheaper than Home Depot at $99.99 CDN plus tax. Just burns me that he did that.

I wanted the bit and it was still way cheaper than anywhere up here selling them. So I sent him his $5. Kind of like blackmail but still cheaper.

Do you have a Harbor Freight anywhere nearby? They sell a 3 pack of step drills for about $10.00 U.S.
Cheap enough to abuse with little worry. I have several sets because they put them on sale every once in a while at even lower prices. They go to about 3/4 inch. They sell larger ones also.
